I have always been a bit of an inventor, and like so many good ideas, it all began by needing to find a solution for my own needs.

Running a company where you are responsible for the needs of 14 agents scattered across the USA, where over 8,000 agency clients are counting upon you to keep up with a myriad of constant changes to Medicare and with their healthcare plans, along with dealing with over 50 healthcare carriers that we represent, isn’t easy.

Then too, I have a life beyond the office. With children, grandchildren, medical needs of my own, appointments to keep, bills to pay, and over 100 important emails a day to deal with, many having information I need to hang onto, as I said before, isn’t easy.

To have any chance of keeping one’s head above water, “one word” I’ve learned is imperative. Maybe it’s one of the 10 key words in the entire English language: ORGANIZED. You need to be organized.

For me, being organized does not come easily or naturally. Just as a bear’s natural habitat is the woods, mine is clutter. With this being the case, sometimes it feels as though I may as well be lost in the woods.
I read a statistic that the average person spends what adds up to two weeks a year looking for lost information. I simply couldn’t afford those two lost weeks in my life, nor want the frustration.

With that in mind, several years ago I created an App, at the time just for me. Over time, I worked on my App with my programmers, changed and added features, and perfected it. This App has been a game-changer. The amount of time it has saved me, not to mention the hair I haven’t
pulled out, has been a boatload.

As a Medicare-centered Healthcare Agency, our mission at ITSTHATTIME LLC is to look for and to offer ways to help out. To that end, I wrote a little mini-book called “MEDICARE, IT’S THAT TIME!” which, over the last 9 years, has been distributed to over two million people turning 65 and getting ready to join Medicare.

I am both pleased and proud of the many responses we have gotten to this Medicare mini-book, coming from those commenting on how the book helped them truly understand the vital topic of Medicare, how it works, and how to best
implement it for their own health needs. Medicare is a confusing topic for everyone, and it has been our great privilege to help so many clients navigate it.

We have also created several other tools to assist. For instance, I wrote and sent out, on request, a complimentary book to help people understand Social Security benefits, which is another confusing topic. We also have our “CONVENIENCE CARD” a credit-card-style card that has all of one’s Medicare and health plan information conveniently kept on one card.
The “ITSTHATEASY” App has made my own life so much simpler and more organized, just by taking advantage of what a computer can do that a pen and some scraps of paper can’t accomplish or organize to retain. Because of how much the App has helped me, I am now giving “ITSTHATEASY” without cost to anyone, but especially people 55+, in order to share the ease of life that the ItsThatEasy App brings.
